Deposit: 20% per week is required for each week booked. This is non refundable / non transferable in the event of cancellation.
Balance: The balance of payment is due 2 calendar months before your arrival date.
Security Deposit: £200 (US$300 or CAD$350) will be requested along with your balance. This will be refunded as set out below paragraph if no damage/losses are reported by our Florida Management Company.
Returnable Security/Damage Deposit: By signing these terms & conditions you confirm your acceptance to pay for any damage of any kind caused by your occupancy of the property. Please check the property on arrival and report any damage or carpet marks to the management company within 24hrs of arrival. If this is not done then there is a risk that cleaners could raise the problem as being caused by you. The cost of repairs and/or replacements will be deducted from your security deposit prior to the return of the balance. The security deposit will be fully refundable 2-3 weeks after your departure from the property, providing there are no claims against it. Claims include, but not limited to:- not abiding by the terms and conditions, not abiding by instructions set out in the information book contained in the villa, damage of any kind, excessive cleaning costs by our agents or excessive use of electricity i.e. caused by leaving external doors open with the air conditioning on, pool light not turned off . The named person on the booking form will be held responsible for all additional costs, which exceed the security deposit and any additional sums must be paid within 14 days
Cancellation Charges: We must be notified in writing as soon as possible in the event of cancellation. Should you cancel your booking, the following conditions will apply:
- More than two calendar months before departure = Deposit forfeited
- Between one and two calendar months before departure = 50% of total cost forfeited
- Less than 28 days before departure = 100% of total costs forfeited
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL YOUR BOOKING IF THE BALANCE IS NOT PAID BY THE DUE DATE
Amendments: Alterations to the booking can be made at the discretions of the Villa owners and an administration fee of £25 will be charged. Please confirm changes in writing along with a cheque for £25 made payable to `S Mandalia`
Accommodation: Should circumstances beyond the owners control require them to cancel a booking the client will receive full refund of all monies paid to date with no further liability accepted or compensation paid.
Pool Heat: If required, must be confirmed at time of booking and paid for along with the final balance payment. In the event the pool heat is requested and paid for, we do not imply and cannot guarantee the temperature of any heated pool and this will vary according to several factors, the main one being the prevailing weather conditions. In the event of a pool heater breakdown, the owner’s liability will be limited to the pool heat money paid by the guest for the number of proven days the heater is out of action. No other action or compensation will be paid.
Guests must not interfere with the pool heating controls in any way and must contact our management company if any problems/issues. Any deviance from this will result in loss of security deposit in full
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
It is very important to note that only persons identified on the booking form are permitted to stay at the property. The party leader agrees NOT to sub-let, share or assign the property to any other person not authorised by the owner. Please ensure that we are notified of any changes to the original booking as unauthorised persons staying in the villa will cause the whole party to be excluded from the property without refund and loss of security deposit.
No pets allowed.
Liability: During your stay, the villa owners and the Management Company or their agents do not accept any liability whatsoever for death, personal injury, accidents, loss or damage to persons or personal effects however caused.
Please bear in mind that your villa is situated on a development that consists of both residential and vacation homes, therefore, the villa owners and their representatives cannot be held responsible for any ongoing construction, alterations to existing houses or any noise nuisance as a result thereof on or around the housing development.
The owners and their representatives do not accept liability for injury or death howsoever caused as a result of use of the pool or surrounding areas.
George Foreman BBQ/Grill:- A cleaning charge of
$40 will be made from your security deposit if upon your departure
from our villa this grill has been left dirty.
Force Majeure: The villa owners or their representatives cannot accept, be responsible for or be liable in respect of loss, damage or changes caused by force majeure (e.g. strikes, floods, terrorist activities, closure of airports, weather conditions or other events beyond our control)
Complaints: In the unlikely event of a complaint during your stay please contact the management company immediately. Details will be held at the villa.
Insurance: It is a condition of booking that you and each member of your party are covered by adequate personal holiday insurance. It is advisable that cancellation insurance is contained within your travel insurance.
